ARMATORE was born in Cetara, an ancient fishing village nestled between the waves and rocks of the Amalfi Coast, where fishing is more than a craft: it is an art, a culture, a heritage that is handed down from generation to generation. The hands of offshore fishermen and those of women in production guard ancient knowledge, precise gestures and rituals that transform each fish into a masterpiece of taste.
The bluefin tuna, king of our sea, is originally selected and compared for quality and value with the most common yellowfin tuna, to which it is superior in taste, consistency and nutritional values.
Its noblest parts such as the ventresca and the precious bottarga of bluefin tuna, dried according to the slow times of tradition, are also processed.
