A bit for fun and a bit by chance: this is how, according to legend, the Krumiri were born. Italy was united for a few years and still the echoes of the Risorgimento had not died out. One night, after an evening at the cafe with friends, Domenico Rossi invited everyone to his pastry workshop and there, in a mysterious alchemy between ingredients and magic, he baked the first Krumiri. If it was so, we do not know, but that says the legend and we believe it. One thing, however, is certain: in 1878, as the newspapers of the time attest, the Krumiri, the original ones, are already a delicious reality of the art of Italian pastry.
