APPOGGATURE CHAMPAGNE DOMAINE B. GIRARDIN

Appoggiature, unique Brut of Domaine B. Girardin is cheerful and cheeky. A first label rich in an important evolution of 6 years on the yeasts and blended with reserve wines from 2012 to 2016. At the opening, the citrus note is full of lemon and then develops into a delicate and fine grapefruit. It suggests, rather than imposing, to continue the tasting with a whole meal also valuable given the length in the mouth for the evolved vegetal notes of the Meunier and a savoury that can make water. A long and soft finish, with delicate touches of honey and hazelnut.
